2 cups biscuit baking mix
? cup heavy cream
¼ cup butter, melted
1?½ tablespoons sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Lightly grease 2 baking sheets.
  • Stir together baking mix and cream; blend for 30 seconds. Turn dough out onto a lightly flour surface and knead 10 times. Roll dough into a 5x10 inch rectangle. Cut dough into 1/2 inch wide strips.
  • Place strips on prepared baking sheets. Brush strips with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes, until golden.

1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 egg, beaten
1 -2 teaspoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese, shredded
2 -4 tablespoons sesame seeds

Steps:

  • Cream the butter. Add the flour, and salt. Mix until butter is completely blended into the flour mixture.
  • Blend in the egg, parmesan cheese and sesame oil. Mix until it looks like cookie dough.
  • Press out on parchment paper in a 10 X 15 inch sheet pan until 1/4 inch thick and press in the sesame seeds. (Try to have a rectangle and equal thickness.).
  • Use a pizza cutter, and cut into 1/2 X 1/2 inch pieces and spread out on the parchment paper so they are not touching.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minute until golden.

Increase the heat to medium-high and fry until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Place on a plate lined with several thicknesses of paper towels. Repeat with remaining sesame balls. Set aside oil to cool before discarding. Serve immediately.
