4 medium white potatoes
Cooking spray
1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
1/2 cup fat-free sour cream
2 tablespoons barbecue sauce

Steps:

  • Heat gas or charcoal grill. Cut each potato lengthwise into 8 wedges; pat dry with paper towels. Spray potato wedges thoroughly with cooking spray. Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Place in grill basket (grill "wok").
  • Place grill basket on grill rack over medium heat. Cover grill; cook 30 to 40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until potato wedges are tender.
  • In small bowl, mix sour cream and barbecue sauce. Serve with potato wedges.

Number Of Ingredients 14

4-5 medium sized russet potatoes
2 garlic cloves
1-1.5 teaspoon Italian seasoning
3 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoons pepper
Ingredients for the sauce:
1/2 cup sour cream (120ml)
1/2 cup mayonnaise (120ml)
3 tablespoons fresh dill
1 tablespoons lemon juice
salt, pepper to taste
Optional:
1 minced garlic clove.

Steps:

  • Thoroughly wash the potatoes. Cut them into 6 or 8 wedges.
  • Let the potatoes stand in cold water for 20-30 minutes.
  • After 20-30 minutes drain and thoroughly dry the wedges.
  • Season the potatoes (toss the wedges until they are evenly coated) and place them on the lined baking sheet.
  • Bake the wedges in the preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 40 minutes. For even golden-brown color, place the potatoes skin down and broil on low for 4-5 min, or until desired doneness is reached.
  • Sauce: Mix together sour cream, mayonnaise, chopped dill, lemon juice. Season the sauce with salt and paper to taste. As an option, add 1 minced garlic clove.
