Pan-fried Taiwanese Sausage recipe - Simple Chinese Food image

Many years ago, I ate Taiwanese sausage for the first time. It was brought by a Taiwanese friend. It is much better than the current supermarket. At that time, the most impressive way to eat it was to fry it into slices and eat it with raw garlic. It was really a good snack. But one thing to keep in mind: If you still have important appointments or work, don’t try it. Haha, garlic will make you very embarrassed.

6 lines Sausage
a little Cucumber
a little lettuce
a little onion
3 petals garlic
Right amount Cooking oil
Right amount Thousand Island dressing

Steps:

  • Preparation materials: Taiwan sausage, garlic
  • Cut the sausage into sections, poke a few times on the skin with a toothpick, so that the skin will not burst when frying, which will make it unsightly
  • Add a little oil and fry slowly. Keep turning to heat evenly
  • Cut the garlic as thick as you like
  • Skewer a piece of garlic and one section of intestines, cut some shredded lettuce, sliced cucumber, and sprinkle some salt on the shredded onion. Steps:

  • Prick sausages all over with a fork, and transfer to a skillet (preferably cast iron) over medium heat. Fill skillet with enough water to reach a quarter of the way up sides of sausages. Simmer, covered, until sausages are cooked through and water evaporates, 10 to 15 minutes. (If sausages have cooked through but water has not evaporated, uncover, and continue to cook until water evaporates.)
  • Continue to cook sausages, turning, until crisp and golden brown all around, about 3 minutes. Serve with cheeses.
