This easy fudge recipe is made without a saucepan or candy thermometer. One bowl and the microwave is all you need to make smooth, creamy fudge.

- Line 8-inch square pan with aluminum foil, extending foil over edges. Grease foil with butter.
- Combine butter, milk and chocolate chips in large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave 2-3 minutes or until butter and chocolate chips are melted.
- Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla; beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until smooth. Spread into prepared pan. Cover; refrigerate 1-1 1/2 hours or until firm. Lift fudge out of pan, using foil ends; cut into squares.

The mixture will become hard to stir and lose its sheen. Spread into a buttered 8 by 8-inch pan lined with parchment paper. Fold the excess parchment paper so it covers the surface of the fudge and refrigerate until cool, about 2 hours. Cut into 1-inch pieces and store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
