Steps:

Place eggs in a large pot and cover by an inch of cold water. Place pot on stove and bring to a boil. Instantly turn off heat and cover pot. Let sit for 11 minutes.
Remove from pan and transfer to ice water. Let cool 2 minutes before peeling and serving.

2-6 Eggs
One-half teaspoons of salt for each egg
Ample amount of water to cover up to half an inch above the eggs

Steps:

Take around to 6 eggs in the bottom of a microwave-safe bowl.
Add to the eggs with some water to a height of 1/2 inch above the eggs.
Now put a 1/2 teaspoon of salt for each egg and calculate accordingly to the number of eggs
Microwave for 4 minutes for 2 eggs, 5 minutes for 4 eggs, and 6 minutes for 6 eggs
Fill another bowl with ice and water or cold water.
To get soft boiled eggs with runny egg yolks, take out the eggs from the water and immerse them in ice-cold water
To make hard-boiled eggs, let them in hot water for more than 2-3 minutes. If you want to have just slightly creamy eggs, keep it for 2 minutes, and for firm egg yolks, keep it for 3 minutes
