BROWN SUGAR BROWNIES RECIPE | LAND O’LAKES
Steps:
- Heat oven to 325°F. Grease 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.
- Combine brown sugar and butter in bowl. Beat at medium speed until creamy. Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each addition. Add melted chocolate; continue beating until well mixed. Add flour; beat at low speed until well mixed. Stir in nuts.
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 25-28 minutes or until brownies just begin to pull away from sides of pan. (Do not overbake.) Cool in pan; cut into bars.

Remove from heat. Gradually stir in powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing well with spoon after each addition, until smooth and spreadable. If necessary, add more milk, a few drops at a time. Spread frosting over brownies. Immediately sprinkle with pecans. For brownies, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows.
