This crockpot candy chicken is so simple and an easy and oh so tasty family dish made up right in the crockpot with just a few ingredients.

Ingredients

6 large chicken breasts (or you can do any chicken parts)
1 c brown sugar
1/4 c Sprite or any lemon lime soda
2/3 c vinegar

2 T soy sauce
1 t crushed black pepper
OPTIONAL: 3 T cornstarch and reserved cooking juices (watch the video at the end for details).

Steps:

Place your chicken in the crockpot and season with the garlic, brown sugar, and pepper.
Pour the lemon lime soda and vinegar on top.
Cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 8 -10 hours. Do not remove the lid or you will add 30 minutes of cook time!
Once done serve up with your favorite side dishes!
