Number Of Ingredients 7

sausages - 4.5 lb (2 kg) pork or beef
onions - 4 heads
for the marinade
red wine - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
honey - 1/2 cup (125 g)
chili - 1/4 tsp, spicy, powdered
mustard - 1 tsp

Steps:

  • Thoroughly mix the wine with the honey , chili and mustard . Boil the sausage in a large pot for 5 minutes after reaching the boiling point, then remove.
  • Pour the marinade over it and leave it to rest for half an hour. Grill the marinated sausage on a heated and greased grill, occasionally re-coating with the marinade.
  • Chop the onion into medium thin slices, put them in the marinade to season and then grill. Serve the sausage with onions and garnish it as desired.

1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
8 ounces cheddar cheese, cut into 3/4-in. cubes
1 can (6 ounces) pitted ripe olives, drained
8 ounces hard salami, cut into 3/4-in. cubes
1 medium sweet red pepper, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
1 medium green pepper, cut into 3/4-inch pieces

Steps:

  • In a large shallow dish, combine the first 5 ingredients; add remaining ingredients. Stir to coat; refrigerate at least 4 hours. Drain, discarding marinade. , For kabobs, thread cheese, olives, salami and peppers onto toothpicks.
