Strawberry Banana Yogurt Smoothie Recipe: How to Make It image

This frosty strawberry banana smoothie with yogurt is a great way to use up that last banana. Frozen berries and fruit keep it extra thick. —Christy Adkins, Martinez, Georgia

1/2 cup 2% milk
1/3 cup strawberry yogurt
1/3 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries
1/2 medium firm banana, chopped
4 ice cubes
8 teaspoons sugar

Steps:

  • In a blender, combine all of the ingredients; cover and process for 30-45 seconds or until smooth. Stir if necessary. Pour into 2 chilled glasses; serve immediately.

1 c. Fruit (your Choice - Blueberries, Peaches, Pineapple, Etc)
1/4 c. Milk
1 dash Honey
Ice

  • Place yogurt, fruit, milk, a handful of ice and honey to taste all into a blender. Blend until smooth. Taste it for sweetness and add more honey if needed.Pour, drink and enjoy!
