But it’s really hard to eat the delicious Yang Chun noodles. It's better to do it yourself! You can eat authentic Yangchun noodles easily.

10gram chopped green onion
100 g Chung Yu Long Mustard Noodles
2 tablespoons Soy sauce
a little salt
Half a spoon lard

Steps:

  • Chopped green onion and set aside.
  • Bring cold water to a boil in the pot.
  • Put two spoons of light soy sauce in a bowl with the right amount of salt.
  • Add half a spoon of lard.
  • Open the water into the boiling water and mix with the soup.
  • Stir until the lard is completely melted.
  • Open the water and cook the noodles until the noodles rise and scoop out.
  • Put the noodles into the seasoning bowl and add the chopped green onion to start.

Yang Chun Noodle is a humble and yummy soup noodle seasoned with soy sauce, green onion, chicken broth and lard (or sesame oil).

100 g noodles
1 tbsp. soy sauce ( , or to taste)
1 tsp. home rendered lard ( , or 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil)
1/4 tsp. sugar
1 green onion ( , finely chopped)
2 cup Light chicken stock ( , or liquid for cooking the noodles as needed)

Steps:

  • If you prefer to use chicken stock, heat chicken stock in a small pot.
  • In serving bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, green onion and lard (or sesame oil).
  • In another pot with boiling water, cook the noodles accordingly.
  • Pour around 2 cups of chicken stock or liquid for cooking the noodles into serving bowl to tune the seasonings.
  • Transfer noodles and serve hot!
