These are the wings that put Buffalo on the map! Get all the crunch and flavor of classic Buffalo wings without the hassle of deep-frying. Our pan-fried version is quick to prepare and guaranteed to calm the Buffalo wing-eating beast in all of us.

Provided by Tablespoon Kitchens

Total Time 35 minutes

Prep Time 35 minutes

Yield 12

Number Of Ingredients 12

2 eggs
1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup hot pepper sauce, room temperature
1/2 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 lb chicken wings
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon packed brown sugar
Blue cheese dressing, if desired

Steps:

  • Line 15x10x1-inch pan with paper towels and a cooling rack.
  • In small bowl, beat eggs, water and 1 tablespoon of the hot pepper sauce with whisk. In shallow dish, mix flour, onion powder, salt and red pepper.
  • In 12-inch covered skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until oil reaches 350°F. Working in 2 batches, dip wings into egg mixture; shake off excess egg mixture, and coat in flour mixture. Place in skillet; cover, and cook 5 minutes. Turn; cook 3 to 4 minutes or until browned and juice of chicken is clear when thickest part is cut to bone (at least 175°F). Transfer to cooling rack; repeat with remaining wings.
  • Meanwhile, in small bowl, mix remaining 7 tablespoons hot pepper sauce, the melted butter and brown sugar. In medium bowl, gently toss cooked wings with hot pepper sauce mixture; serve with blue cheese dressing.

FAMILY-STYLE CHICKEN BROCCOLI CHEDDAR CALZONES - PILLSBURY.…

Family-Style Chicken Broccoli Cheddar Calzones - Pillsbury.… image

These super-stuffed calzones come together in a snap without trading on flavor or fun!

Provided by Pillsbury Kitchens

Total Time 45 minutes

Prep Time 15 minutes

Yield 8

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 bag (12 oz) frozen chopped broccoli
1 can (13.8 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Classic Crust Pizza Crust
1 cup shredded deli rotisserie chicken
2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
2 teaspoons olive oil

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 2 large cookie sheets with cooking spray. Make broccoli as directed on bag. Drain on paper towels, and let cool slightly.
  • Meanwhile, unroll pizza crust, and cut in half crosswise. Place half on each cookie sheet. Press each half into 9-inch square.
  • Divide chicken between crusts, and place diagonally on half of crust leaving 1/2-inch rim, covering corners as well. Top chicken with cheese, pressing cheese down firmly. Top with broccoli.
  • Working from opposite point, gently fold and stretch dough over filling; press edges with fork to seal. Poke several holes in top of each calzone with fork. Brush top of calzone with oil, and sprinkle with salt to taste. Bake 23 to 27 minutes or until golden brown. Cut each calzone into fourths.
  • To freeze: Prepare calzones on two 24x12-inch sheets of foil that are sprayed with cooking spray. Wrap in foil; label, and freeze in gallon-size resealable freezer plastic bags. To bake: Heat oven to 375°F. Remove from plastic; place frozen foil-wrapped calzone(s) on cookie sheet. Bake about 1 hour or until instant-read thermometer inserted in center of calzone reads 165°F. Remove foil but keep edges tented; broil about 1 minute or until golden brown.

COPYCAT HIDDEN VALLEY RANCH DRESSING RECIPE BY TODD WILBUR
It is true that ranch dressing was invented at Hidden Valley Ranch near Santa Barbara, California, by a real salad-wranglin' rancher. In the 50s and 60s Steve Henson and his wife, Gayle, shared their 120-acre dude ranch with University of California at Santa Barbara students and other festive partiers for rousing weekend shindigs. The dozens of guests were served steak dinners and delicious salads topped with Steve's special blend of herbs, spices, mayonnaise, and buttermilk. As word got out about the fabulous dressing, more guests were showing up at the ranch and walking home with complimentary take-home jars filled with the stuff. Eventually, Steve figured he could make a little cash on the side by packaging the dressing as a dry mix and selling it through the mail. At first he was filling envelopes himself, but within a few months, Steve had to hire twelve more people to help with the packaging. Soon Steve had a multi-million dollar business on his hands with a product that for ten years he had been giving away for free.  Find all of your favorite salad dressing copycat recipes here.
