Cook Time 0S

Yield 30

Number Of Ingredients 3

1 cup dark red wine
4 Tbsp unflavored gelatin
2 1/2 Tbsp raw honey

Steps:

  • Add wine and honey to a pan and heat on low.
  • Whisk the wine and honey together.
  • Add the gelatin in one Tbsp at a time, making sure it's dissolved before adding more.
  • Keep the heat on low the whole time. You don't want the wine to boil. The heat is solely to dissolve and properly mix all the ingredients.
  • Pour mixture into a shallow pan and chill in the refrigerator. It doesn't take long to set into a gummy-like texture. You can then cut into squares, or use a cookie cutter to create shapes.

Number Of Ingredients 4

½ c. Sugar
1 c. Red wine (or white wine or rose)

Steps:

  • Add the wine, sugar, and unflavored gelatin to a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk constantly for 2-3 minutes until everything is dissolved, but not boiling.
  • Using a food-safe syringe (like the one that comes with the gummy bear mold) or a measuring cup with a spout, slowly pour the warm gelatin mixture into the gummy bear molds.
  • Refrigerate for approximately 30-60 minutes until the gelatin has hardened. Pop the bears out of the mold and store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

HOW TO MAKE A DIY HOMEMADE WINE GUMMIES - ONLY 3 INGREDIENTS
28/10/2016 · The recipe yields about 24-26 wine gummies. 1 and 1/2 cup wine (Pinot Noir, Cabernet or any red wine will work) 2 Tbsp gelatin (I used the brand called Knox, got it from my local supermarket, you can get it online too) 2 -3 Tbsp maple syrup . Note: The amount of maple syrup you use will depend on (1) how dry your wine is and (2) how sweet you want your gummies! You’ll have to taste it as you go and add more as needed. To my liking 2 TBS was just perfect.
