Tex-Mex Ranch Wildfire Dip

2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons garlic
½ cup green chiles
sea salt
1 packet Hidden Valley® Fiesta Ranch Dips Mix
16 ounces sour cream
1½ cups colby jack cheese

Steps:

  • In a medium skillet set over medium heat, warm the olive oil; add the garlic and cook, stirring often, until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Stir in the green chiles and cook until warmed through, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, mix contents of dips packet with sour cream, then stir in the chile mixture and cheese. Refrigerate 1 hour to thicken.

1 ½ cups olive oil
4 tablespoons Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning, Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix Shaker
3 tablespoons red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 pound saltine crackers

Steps:

  • Pour the olive oil, seasoning mix, red and black peppers into a gallon-size Glad® Zipper bag. Seal the bag and thoroughly mix the ingredients together until well blended.
  • Place all of the crackers into the bag, re-seal, and gently turn the bag over several times to coat the crackers with the spice mixture. Be sure to coat as thoroughly as possible.
  • Let the bag sit at room temperature overnight.
  • When ready to bake, preheat oven to 250°F. Lay the crackers on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, to seal in the spices and dry slightly. Store in an airtight container.
