PIZZA DOUGH FROM WHOLE FOODS SURPRISES – BAKING STEEL



Pizza Dough from Whole Foods Surprises – Baking Steel image

If you don't have time to make your own dough, Whole Foods premade dough is a great alternative!

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 Whole Foods Pizza Dough
3 oz. can Whole Foods Pizza Sauce
2 oz. Shredded Cheese
1 Jalapeno - thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven at 500 F with the Baking Steel on the top rack for one hour
  • Divide the dough into 2 equal portions and let rest for a minimum of 2 hours. This dough is going to be difficult to stretch by hand
  • Stretch out the dough into a round and place on your lightly dusted with flour pizza peel.
  • Distribute the tomato sauce over the top. Place cheese on next followed by the thinly sliced jalapeño. Launch.
  • Launch pizza onto your Baking Steel and bake for 5-7 minutes. Midway through the bake, open oven and rotate.
  • Remove and serve it hot.
