This leftover bread breakfast bake is amazing! Don't throw out leftover bread - make this delicious french toast casserole instead!

3 cups leftover bread (cubed)
1 cup milk
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 375F. Spray the bottom and sides of an 8x8 square baking dish with non-stick cooking spray (or grease with butter).
  • Put the bread cubes in the baking dish in a single layer.
  • Whisk the eggs, milk, 2 tbsp of sugar, vanilla and cinnamon in a bowl. Pour over the bread cubes, springle the remaining 2 tbsp of sugar on top and let stand for 10 minutes.
  • Put the baking dish in the oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until set.
