Make your own Cracker Barrel fried okra at home. Flavored with garlic powder and breaded with cornmeal, serve as a side dish or as a snack!

Steps:
- Wash and cut the okra into quarter-inch slices.
- Add garlic powder and cornmeal into the okra. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Toss to combine.
- Heat oil over medium heat.
- Once the oil is completely hot, fry the okra slices in the oil until they are golden. Fry for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side.
- Transfer to a slotted basket to drain. Allow to cool for a couple of minutes.
- Enjoy with whatever dipping sauce you like!
