This refreshing seaweed salad is a light, tasty side that pairs well with potstickers, fish, and other Asian inspired dishes. Enjoy it today!

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 oz wakame seaweed (dried)
1 1/2 Tbsp rice vinegar
1 Tbsp sesame oil
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp ginger juice
1 scallion, thinly sliced
1 Tbsp sesame seeds

Steps:

  • 1. Rinse the dried seaweed, add to a large bowl, and cover with cold water. Soak for about 10 minutes and allow it the seaweed to rehydrate and become tender. Drain the seaweed and gently squeeze out excess water.
  • 2. For the seaweed salad dressing, add vinegar, oil, soy sauce, sugar, and ginger juice to a small bowl. Mix until combined.
  • 3. Toss seaweed with the dressing, taste, and add more seasoning if necessary. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced scallions then serve.

100 g kelp
20 grams carrot
20 grams oil
2 grams salt
5 grams Soy sauce
5 grams garlic
5 grams White vinegar
5 grams Sugar

Steps:

  • Mix all the seasonings evenly
  • Garlic crushed and added to the sauce
  • Cook the seaweed and remove it from cold water for later use
  • Add the sauce and mix well
  • Add carrots at the end
