Weight Watchers Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe - Food.com image

I found this recipe in the May/June 2008 Weight Watchers Magazine and wanted to try it. 3 cookies = 3 points. They always do a recipe makeover and those are usually the best!

Total Time 22 minutes

Prep Time 10 minutes

Cook Time 12 minutes

Yield 3 dozen cookies, 36 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 11

1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup nonfat sour cream
1 large egg
3/4 cup quick-cooking rolled oats (not instant)
1/2 cup mini chocolate chip

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spray 2 large baking sheets with nonstick spray.
  • Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl and set aside.
  • Beat the brown sugar, butter and vanilla in a large bowl until blended.
  • Beat in the sour cream and egg.
  • Add the flour mixture and beat until blended, about 1 minute.
  • Stir in the oats and chocolate chips.
  • Spoon the dough onto the baking sheets about 1 inch apart making a total of 36 cookies.

  • Transfer to racks to cool.

MINI CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES | RECIPES | WW USA

Mini chocolate chip cookies | Recipes | WW USA image

Go ahead and grab a couple of these bite-size cookies. They might be little, but they pack a big chocolate punch. We’ve used dark brown sugar in these cookies, which contains more molasses than light brown sugar. It adds a rich, complex flavor to these cookies and helps make them moister and chewier. But if you have only got light brown sugar in your pantry, that will work just fine. Swap out the chocolate chips for any morsels you like—cinnamon chips, butterscotch, toffee, or white chocolate chips. Or stir in some chopped nuts, if you’d like a little crunch.

LOWER FAT DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES (WW) RECIPE - FOOD.COM
I needed to make some cookies that wouldn't interfere with my trying to cut back on my fat intake. A friend passed on this recipe which she said was from Weight Watchers. If you make 40 cookies, it is 1 point each (I'm not sure what the Points Plus Value is). And yes, they are small cookies, but very fudgy and delicious!

FUDGY CHOCOLATE COOKIES | RECIPES | WW USA
In less than 30 minutes, you can have four dozen chocolate cookies baked and ready to enjoy. Self-rising flour cuts down on the amount of ingredients you need, and the dough comes together in a snap. It does not need to chill before being baked; you simply roll it into balls and plop them onto baking sheets. You can easily cut the recipe in half for a smaller batch (lightly beat the egg and measure out half of it), or freeze extras—baked and cooled—for up to two months.

CHOCOLATE CHIP MERINGUE COOKIES | RECIPES | WW USA
These delicate little cookies are the perfect combination of vanilla and chocolate. They are light and airy and melt-in-your-mouth which makes them an irresistible treat. Make them to share with a crowd at a party or to give them as gifts during the holiday season. If you prefer chewy meringues, make them the day before you plan to eat them. You can make these cookies mini if you prefer. Just use heaping teaspoons of batter; not tablespoons. Or for a decorative, star-shaped appearance, spoon the mixture into a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip and pipe into mounds.

PEANUT BUTTER, BANANA & CHOCOLATE CHIP BREAKFAST COOKIES ...
With just a handful of ingredients and a half-hour of time, you can make these hearty, whole-grain cookies that feature the irresistible trio of peanut butter, banana, and chocolate. Mashed bananas are the base of the dough, providing richness and sweetness without any added sugar (except for that in the chocolate chips) and no need for eggs. And if you make sure your chocolate chips are dairy-free, these cookies are vegan, too. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for two to three days. The cookies are best when warm, so reheat for a few seconds in a microwave.
