¾ cup water
1 tablespoon water
1?¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon white sugar
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
1?¼ cups heavy cream

Steps:

  • Preheat a mini waffle iron (such as Dash™) and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Pour 3/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon water into a large bowl. Stir in flour, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt to make a batter.
  • Beat cream in a chilled glass or metal bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Fold into the batter, being careful not to overmix.
  • Ladle a couple tablespoons of batter onto the preheated iron and cook until golden brown, 3 to 5 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.

6 tbsp melted and cooled butter
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
2 large eggs at room temperature
1? cup of all purpose flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1½ cup of water
Optional: fresh berries, sauce, melted chocolate, peanut butter, sugar for toppings

Steps:

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the butter, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract, and mix until thoroughly combined and smooth.
  • Then, add the flour and baking powder and mix.
  • Next, pour in the water, and stir until the mixture is once again smooth.
  • Then, preheat the waffle iron, and pour ½ cup of the batter onto the waffle iron.
  • Close your waffle iron and cook in reference to the specific manufacturer instructions.
  • Serve up waffles warm with optional toppings.
