2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup Land O Lakes® Butter melted
3 large Land O Lakes® Eggs slightly beaten
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Toppings
Land O Lakes® Butter with Canola Oil
Maple syrup

Steps:

  • Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in bowl; mix well.
  • Combine milk, melted butter, eggs and vanilla in another bowl; mix well. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients.
  • Cook batter in Belgian waffle maker according to manufacturer’s directions. Serve warm with Butter with Canola Oil and maple syrup.

Every Sunday morning, my mom and I used to get up early and make these wonderful waffles. This recipe has been in the family for years, and I will definitly be passing it down to my children.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 1/3 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
2 eggs, separated
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 3/4 cups milk

Steps:

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all dry ingredients.
  • Separate the eggs, adding the yolks to the dry ingredient mixture, and placing the whites in a small mixing bowl.
  • Beat whites until moderately stiff; set aside.
  • Add milk and melted butter to dry ingredient mixture and blend.
  • Fold stiff egg whites into mixture.
  • Ladle mixture into hot waffle iron and bake.
