12 ounce Refrigerated Biscuits
to taste Nonstick Cooking Spray

Steps:

  • Heat the waffle iron hot enough for cooking waffles. Spray inner plates with Nonstick Cooking Spray (to taste).
  • Remove Refrigerated Biscuits (12 ounce) from package.
  • Place four uncooked refrigerator biscuits in center of 4 squares of waffle iron. Gently close lid.
  • Cook until biscuits are browned and crisp on the edges, about 4 minutes.
  • Repeat with remaining biscuits from the can. These are great with butter and honey!

2/3 cup milk
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz), if desired
1 lb bulk country sausage
1/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Steps:

  • In medium bowl, mix Waffle Biscuit ingredients. Cook in waffle maker as directed by manufacturer.
  • Meanwhile, in 10-inch skillet, cook sausage over medium heat. Add flour; toss to coat. Add milk gradually, stirring constantly. Increase heat to medium-high. Cook about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until thickened. Serve immediately over waffles.
