This season mix adds authentic flavor to Mexican dishes .Use for tacos, ground beef, potatoes or BBQ chicken. You can add it to salad dressing too!

1 teaspoon chili powder (add more if you like)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder (or 2 teaspoons crushed dried fried onions)
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 pinch ground cinnamon
1 pinch ground cloves

Steps:

  • Mix together ingredients thoroughly in a bowl and store in a cool place in an airtight container.

Homemade Taco Seasoning Recipe - Mexican Food Journal image

Easy to make, mild, homemade, taco seasoning prepared with paprika, powdered onion, powdered garlic, lemon pepper, tablespoon black pepper, ground cumin, dried parsley, and dried oregano.

3 tbsp paprika
2 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp garlic powder
½ tbsp lemon pepper
½ tbsp black pepper
½ tbsp ground cumin
½ tbsp dried parsley
½ tbsp dried oregano
½ tsp red pepper flakes ((optional if you want a hotter seasoning))

Steps:

  • First, rub the oregano and parsley between the palms of your hands until it is nearly a powder.
  • Then put all of the ingredients in a small mixing bowl and stir until the ingredients are equally dispersed.
