Enjoy these flour tortillas loaded with creamy peanut butter, honey and dressed with jelly for a sweet sandwich recipe that’s ready in just 10 minutes – perfect for a packed lunch idea!

1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tablespoons honey
3 tablespoons jelly or preserves
4 (7 to 8-inch) flour tortillas

Steps:

  • To prepare the plastic bags so filling can be squeezed onto tortillas cut 1/4-inch piece from bottom corner of each of 4 resealable snack-sized plastic bags. Fold up the cut corner 2 times to seal; secure with small piece of cellophane tape.
  • In small bowl, combine peanut butter and honey; mix well. Divide peanut butter mixture evenly into 2 of the cut-and-folded bags; seal bags. Divide jelly evenly into remaining 2 bags; seal bags. Wrap 2 tortillas in plastic wrap; repeat with remaining 2 tortillas.
  • In 2 lunch bags, pack wrapped tortillas and filled plastic bags. Store at room temperature.
  • At lunch time, remove tape from bags of peanut butter mixture and jelly. Squeeze onto tortillas; fold or roll up.

2 flour tortillas
? cup creamy peanut butter
1 apple - peeled, cored and thinly sliced

Steps:

  • Spread half of the peanut butter on one side of each tortilla, spreading from the center to within an inch of the edge.
  • Distribute apple slices evenly on one tortilla to cover the peanut butter. Sandwich together the two tortillas.
  • Grill on a lightly oiled griddle or skillet over medium heat, 4 to 6 minutes per side.
  • Cut into wedges and serve.

  • Warm a tortillas up , just slightly to soften it a bit. Or if you don't keep your tortillas in the refrigerator ,they should be soft enough. Spread as much peanut butter around the tortilla, covering it as much as you like. Next if you are using jelly spread that on the tortilla. If you are using bananas place slices down the middle , again as many as you like. Then start rolling it up at one end until it's all rolled up. I like to just fold in the sides into the middle on top of the bananas, but what ever works best for you. That's all, pick up and start eating!! So good!
