Your choice of fruit, vegetables or herbs (see notes below for ideas)
tap or filtered water
ice cubes for serving (optional)

Steps:

  • Wash fruits, vegetables and herbs before using.
  • Place thinly sliced or diced pieces of fruit or vegetables into a pitcher, bruise the fruit using a wooden spoon - this will help release the flavours.
  • Fill the pitcher with 1 litre (4 cups) cold tap or filtered water and allow to stand at room temperature for 1-2 hours or store in the fridge for 24 hours.
  • To serve pour the flavoured water into a glass filled with ice (optional) and garnish with a few fresh slices of fruit if you like.
