8 (1/2-oz.) slices whole-wheat French bread baguette
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1 garlic clove, halved

Steps:

  • Heat a grill pan over medium-high. Brush bread slices with oil. Add bread to pan; cook 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until toasted. Rub 1 side of each bread slice with cut sides of garlic.
