4 (4 ounce) tilapia fillets (or any white fish)
salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon cajun seasoning
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1/4 cup fat-free mayonnaise
1/2 cup plain fat-free yogurt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons fresh dill

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Season tilapia fillets with salt, pepper and Cajun seasoning on both sides. Arrange seasoned fillets in a single layer in the baking dish. Place a layer of lemon slices over the fish fillets. (about 2 slices per fillet so it covers most of the fish).
  • Bake uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • While the fish is baking, mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, lemon juice and dill in a small bowl. Serve with tilapia.

2 Tilapia fillets
Salt and pepper
3 tbsp Butter
2 Cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup Dry white wine or chicken stock
2 tbsp Lemon juice
3 tbsp Fresh dill (or 1 tbsp of dried dill)
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 cup Heavy cream
3 tbsp Butter

Steps:

  • 1 Preheat oven to 400F.
  • 2 Place Tilapia fillets in a non-stick pan and season with salt and pepper. Dollop butter on top of fillets.
  • 3 In a small saucepan over medium heat add garlic, wine or chicken stock, lemon juice, and dill. Bring to a boil and boil for about 2 minutes.
  • 4 Reduce heat and whisk in mustard and heavy cream. Continue to cook until it thickens, making sure to whisk the entire time.
  • 5 Remove from heat and Whisk in butter pieces one at a time.
  • 6 Bake fillets for 10-15 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve with sauce on top.
