EASY TATER TOT™ HOTDISH RECIPE - TABLESPOON.COM
Whether or not you grew up in the Midwest, this classic Tater Tot™ hotdish (otherwise known as a casserole to you non-Midwesterners) is a dinnertime favorite, no matter where you're from. A creamy mix of ground beef, green beans, tater tots and melted cheese, this retro tater tot hotdish recipe delivers hearty comfort food deliciousness.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Brown beef, drain.
- Mix browned beef, salt, pepper, soup and green beans. Pour in casserole.
- Place Tater Tots™ on top of beef mixture. Then top off with cheddar cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15 minutes.
- Serve immediately.

- Put browned ground beef in a 9x13 dish.

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a medium skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add onion and cook until soft, 5 minutes. Add ground beef, garlic powder, salt, and pepper and cook until meat is no longer pink, about 6 minutes. Drain any excess grease and pour mixture into a 9"-x-13" baking dish. Combine vegetables in an even layer on top, then cover with soup. Place a layer of tater tots on top. Bake until bubbly and the tots are a warm golden brown, 53 to 55 minutes.
