A creamy mix of ground beef, green beans, tater tots and melted cheese, this retro tater tot hotdish recipe delivers hearty comfort food deliciousness.

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 bag Ore-Ida™ Tater Tots™ frozen potatoes
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 can green beans, drained
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350° F.
Brown beef, drain.
Mix browned beef, salt, pepper, soup and green beans. Pour in casserole.
Place Tater Tots™ on top of beef mixture. Then top off with cheddar cheese.
Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake 15 minutes.
Serve immediately.

1 envelope taco seasoning
2/3 cup water
1 can (11 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
1 can (11 ounces) condensed fiesta nacho cheese soup, undiluted
1 package (32 ounces) frozen Tater Tots

Steps:

In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Stir in corn and soup., Transfer to a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Arrange Tater Tots in a single layer over the top. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until potatoes are crispy and golden brown.

Finely shred potatoes on a fine box grater. Season the potatoes with 1 1/2 tablespoons of salt and 1 teaspoon of pepper. Put the potatoes into a kitchen towel and squeeze out the excess liquid.
