creamy peanut butter, such as JIF or Skippy

1/4 c.

unsalted butter, room temperature

1/2 c.

powdered sugar 

Kosher salt

dry roasted peanuts

(11-ounce) bag caramel squares (about 1 3/4 cups squares) 

2 tbsp.

whole milk

1 1/2 c.

dark chocolate chips 

4 1/2 tsp.

coconut oil

Steps:

  • Grease the bottom of a 8" square baking pan with cooking spray and line with parchment, leaving a 2" overhang on two sides. Grease parchment with cooking spray.   Line the bottom of the baking pan with an even layer of pretzels, trimming if necessary to cover bottom of pan without overlapping.  In a medium microwave safe bowl, microwave the peanut butter and butter until melted. Stir to combine. Whisk in powdered sugar and a large pinch of salt until smooth and combined. Pour the peanut butter over the pretzels in the baking pan. Evenly sprinkle the peanuts over the peanut butter. Refrigerate until peanut butter is chilled and firm, about 20 minutes.  In another medium microwave safe bowl, microwave the caramel squares until smooth and pourable. Add the milk and stir to combine. Drizzle the caramel over the top of the peanut layer. Spread into an even layer. Refrigerate until caramel is firm enough to slice, but not too hard, no more than 15 minutes.   Cut the chilled treats into squares and freeze until chilled and firm, about 30 minutes.   In another medium microwave safe bowl, combine the chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave until melted and stir to combine.    Dip each square into the chocolate to fully coat and arrange bars on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate until chocolate is firm, about 20 minutes more. Enjoy chilled.

30 pretzels, snaps
1 cup peanut butter, creamy
1 cup peanuts, lightly salted
11 oz caramels
12 oz milk chocolate morsels
1 tsp coconut oil

Steps:

  • Line small baking sheet with parchment paper & lay out pretzels so they are spread out in lines across the pan.
  • Microwave peanut butter for 20 seconds until warm & runny. Spread peanut butter equally across pretzels. 
  • Spread peanuts over the peanut butter/pretzel combination. Let this "set" in refrigerator for 15-20 minutes. (you want it to slightly harden)
  • Microwave caramel in 30 second intervals until melted, stir every time you take it out to make sure it doesn't burn. If caramel is too thick, add a little coconut oil or water to soften it.
  • Spread caramel over the peanut/pretzel combination until evenly across the entire tray. Place back in fridge for 45min-1hour to harden.
  • Once hardened, cut the bars into squares. (you can make them as big or as small as you prefer). Let set again in fridge for 10-15 minutes.
  • Combine chocolate and coconut oil into a bowl and microwave in 30 second intervals until melted & shiny. 
  • Using a fork, dip the squares into the chocolate coating both sides. Once coated, place back onto parchment paper. Repeat until all squares are coated. Then place back in fridge for 10-20 minutes to harden the chocolate. ENJOY!

  • For the pie: Carefully smooth the warmed peanut butter evenly over the bottom of the pretzel crust. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
