1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 envelope (1-1/4 ounces) taco seasoning
1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 cup sour cream
1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies, drained
2 flour tortillas (10 inches)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • In a skillet, brown beef and onion; drain fat. Stir in taco seasoning and tomato sauce; set aside. In a large bowl, mix together soup, sour cream and chilies. Place one tortilla in the bottom of a 10-in. pie plate. Combine beef mixture with half of soup mixture; spoon over tortilla. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese; top with second tortilla. Top with remaining soup mixture and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or until heated through. Let stand a few minutes before serving.

This has to be the best recipe. I got this recipe from a friend and I make it often. The spice is just right and the taste is too!

1 lb ground beef
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope taco seasoning
1 (10 1/2 ounce) can mushroom soup
1 (8 ounce) can beef broth
1 (14 ounce) can rotel
6 slices cheddar cheese
1 (8 ounce) bag tortilla chips

Steps:

  • Brown ground beef.
  • Add taco seasoning, mushroom soup, beef broth, and Rotel tomatoes.
  • Bring to a simmer. Simmer for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Pour chips into bottom of casserole dish (leave whole).
  • Pour beef mixture over chips.
  • Place sliced cheese on top.
  • Bake at 375° for about 10 minutes or until cheese looks melted.

  • Cook macaroni noodles according to package directions for al dente, drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside. In a large skillet, brown ground beef with onion, drain. Return meat mixture to skillet, stir dry taco seasoning mix into meat mixture along with water. Cook over medium heat, stirring occassionally, for 10 minutes. Add the corn, tomato soup, cheddar cheese and cooked macaroni noodles to the meat mixture and stir until well blended. Turn mixture into a greased, large oblong casserole dish. Cover, and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes or until bubbly. You may add extra grated cheese to top the casserole, if you wish, during the last 15 minutes of baking time.
