3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
2 cups bite-size cheese crackers
2 cups bite-size pretzel twists
1 cup salted peanuts
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons water
1 package (1 oz) Old El Paso™ taco seasoning mix

Steps:

In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, crackers, pretzels and peanuts.
In small bowl, stir together oil, water and taco seasoning mix. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
Microwave uncovered on High about 5 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes, until mixture begins to brown. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool. Store in airtight container.

3/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup water
two 1 oz. packages taco seasoning mix, reduced sodium
1 cup dry roasted peanuts, unsalted
5 cups Corn Chex
5 cups Rice Chex
2 cups corn tortilla chips, lightly salted
1 cup roasted plantain chips

Steps:

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.
Blend oil, water, and taco seasoning mix in large bowl; stir in peanuts until thoroughly coated.
add cereal and tortilla chips; stir until thoroughly coated.
Pour snack mixture into two 13x9" baking pans; bake for 45 minutes, stirring 3 times (every 15 minutes).
Sprinkle plaintain chips over both pans; return to oven for another 15 minutes. Remove from oven, cool and serve.
