Osmanthus Sweet Lotus Root recipe - Simple Chinese Food image

The autumn when the sweet-scented osmanthus is full of branches is also the season to eat lotus roots. Every year I pick some sweet-scented osmanthus to make sweet-scented osmanthus and pour it on top of glutinous rice. , Let your taste buds experience a variety of feelings instantly. 1 section Lotus root
100 grams (round) Glutinous rice
150 grams crystal sugar
72 grams brown sugar
5 pcs Red dates
Right amount Shimizu
10gram Sugar Osmanthus

Steps:

  • Soak the glutinous rice overnight;
  • Peel the lotus root and wash it, and cut it diagonally at a distance of 2 cm from one end of the lotus root joint;
  • Wash the soaked glutinous rice, use chopsticks to help stuff it into the lotus root hole, compact it, and stuff the glutinous rice into the cut lotus root joint;
  • Cover the lotus root joints back in place and fix them firmly with toothpicks;
  • Put an appropriate amount of water in the pot, put lotus root stuffed with glutinous rice, rock sugar, brown sugar and red dates;
  • After the power is turned on, the cooking machine will automatically preheat. After preheating, select the steaming and stewing function, press the plus sign on the control panel to add time to 60 minutes, start the program, and cook until the syrup is basically boiled;
  • 7. Take out the boiled glutinous rice and lotus root, cool it until it is not hot, then slice it, and pour it with sweet-scented osmanthus flowers before eating.
