1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 tablespoon finely minced onion
1 tablespoon white wine
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon seafood seasoning (such as Old Bay®)
1 clove garlic, minced
? teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
12 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 (4 ounce) filet mignon steaks
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 teaspoon steak seasoning

Steps:

  • Whisk 1 tablespoon olive oil, butter, onion, wine, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, parsley, seafood seasoning, garlic, and black pepper together in a bowl; add shrimp. Toss to coat evenly. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for flavors to blend, at least 15 minutes.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate. Coat steaks with 2 teaspoons olive oil; sprinkle with steak seasoning.
  • Cook steaks until they are beginning to firm and have reached your desired doneness, 5 to 7 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 140 degrees F (60 degrees C). Transfer steaks to a platter and loosely tent with a piece of aluminum foil.
  • Remove shrimp from marinade and grill until they are bright pink on the outside and the meat is no longer transparent in the center, 2 to 3 minutes per side.

2 cups thickened whipping cream
2 tsp freshly ground garlic
2 tsp chopped parsley
2 tsp chopped garlic chives
1 tsp butter

Steps:

  • If you want to make garlic sauce for surf and turf for more than four people, you should divide each ingredient into four, giving you the right amount of each ingredient that will create the sauce for one serving. Once you have divided the amounts, multiply them by the number of servings you'll need.It is also advisable to start cooking the meat and fish before starting to make the garlic sauce so the latter doesn't cool down before the whole dish is prepared.
  • The first thing you need to do to make the garlic sauce is to crush the garlic and add some butter to a pan. Once the butter is melted, add the garlic and let it cook on high heat for a couple of minutes.
  • While the garlic is cooking, chop the garlic chives and parsley leaves into very small pieces.Once the garlic is cooked (do not let it go brown), lower your cooker to medium heat and add both the chopped herbs and the the thickened cream.
  • Stir the mixture together and lower the heat to low. Leave it to simmer so the sauce can set and thicken. You will notice your garlic sauce will acquire a yellowish color.

  • 1. For the sauce, melt the butter in a pan, add the onion and garlic and stir over medium heat for 1 minute, or until the onion has softened. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute, or until pale and foaming. Remove from the heat and gradually stir in the milk. Return to the heat and stir constantly until the sauce boils and thickens. Reduce the heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the cream, lemon juice and mustard; keep warm.

    2. Starting at the end where the head was, cut down each side of the lobster shell on the underside with kitchen scissors. Pull back the flap and remove the meat from the shell. Heat half the oil in a frying pan, add the lobster meat and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes each side (longer if using a large tail), or until just cooked through. Remove from the pan and keep warm. Add the crab to the pan and stir until heated through. Remove from the pan; keep warm. Wipe the pan clean.

    3. Heat the remaining oil in the pan, add the steaks and cook over high heat for 2 minutes each side to seal, turning once. For rare steaks, cook each side 1 more minute. For medium and well-done steaks, reduce the heat to medium and continue cooking for 2-3 minutes each side for medium or 4-6 minutes each side for well done. To serve, place the steaks on plates. Top with crab followed by slices of lobster. Pour the sauce over the top.
