I have been trying new flavors and healthier foods, and I wanted to have a quick and wholesome meal that could give me energy by using natural ingredients. I just started improvising by mixing everything I could think of in the blender, and it came out delicious! This smoothie is rich in protein, omega 3s, and healthy fats.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1/2 cup strawberry
1 banana
2 cups unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup soft tofu
1 tablespoon raw honey
1 teaspoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon ground flax seeds
1/4 cup rolled oats

Steps:

  • Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve immediately.

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 cups chopped mixed greens (such as kale, spinach, and/or Swiss chard)
1 1/2 cups cold coconut water
1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 green apple, peeled and chopped 
1/2 avocado
2 teaspoons greens powder
2 teaspoons honey or agave
2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger 
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

Steps:

  • Blend the greens, coconut water, pineapple, apple, avocado, greens powder, honey, ginger, lemon juice and 1 cup ice in a blender until smooth. Pour into a glass.

    1. For the green smoothie 1. Peel the banana and cut into nice big slices on a chopping board – ideally you want to use frozen bananas, so try to remember to do this the day before. 2. Put the banana and spinach in a blender and pour in the apple juice. 3. Cut the lime in half and squeeze all the lime juice into the blender. 4. Secure the lid and blitz until smooth, then serve.
    2. For the purple smoothie 1. Remove the stalks from the pears, then use a knife to cut into quarters, removing and discarding the cores. 2. Put the pears and blueberries in a blender, then pour in the apple juice. 3. Secure the lid and blitz until smooth, then serve.
    3. For the orange smoothie 1. Use a teaspoon to scrape all the skin off the ginger, then finely grate onto a board using a microplane. 2. Peel the carrot, then trim and roughly chop it. 3. Put the ginger, carrot and frozen mango in a blender, then pour in the orange juice. 4. Cut the lime in half and squeeze all the lime juice into the blender. 5. Secure the lid and blitz until smooth, then serve.
