A chilled highball beautifully brings out the inherent flavor and fullness of whisky. It also sets off the taste of various foods.

Ingredients

Suntory® Whisky
Soda
Grapefruit or Lemon citrus

Steps:

In a highball glass, add ice and let it chill
Pour chilled Suntory® Whisky in to taste
Stir gently
Add chilled soda (3- 4 parts soda to 1 part whisky)
Give a single stir from bottom to top with a bar spoon.
Add a twist of grapefruit or lemon citrus to garnish. Enjoy!
The highball is a refreshing whisky drink, and the secret is not to overstir it so it doesn't lose its fizz. Also recommended is highball without ice, which lets you savor the whisky's flavor and sweetness more. Be sure to properly chill the glass, whisky, and soda first. For extra fragrance add lemon peel, which makes the flavor even more refreshing.

2 oz (60 ml) (6 cl) Japanese whisky
soda water, to top (3-4 times the amount of whisky)

Steps:

Add a large ice cube to a highball glass.
With a bar spoon, stir until frost appears on the glass — in case the ice melts, pour off the leftover water.
Add another ice cube to the glass, then top with whisky, and stir with a bar spoon 13 ½ times clockwise.
Now, add a third ice cube, filling the glass with ice completely.
Pour in the soda water into the glass, taking care not to touch the ice.
With a bar spoon, stir the drink three times, then gently lift the ice to incorporate the two drinks without disturbing bubbles.
