Quick and easy sugar free frosting recipe, made with simple ingredients. Uses sugar free powdered sugar and cream cheese to make it rich, fluffy, creamy.

1/2 cup Butter (Unsalted, Room temperature)
1 package Cream cheese (8 oz. )
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 cup Sugar free powdered sugar (E.g. Swerve confectioners sugar)
1-2 tbsp Milk (Whole)

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and cream cheese until fully blended. 
  • Mix in vanilla extract until smooth. 
  • Mix in powdered sugar, gradually, along with some milk and whip until smooth and fluffy. 
  • Chill for 20 minutes.
  • Then, pipe on cakes and cupcakes. Enjoy!

½ cup vegetable shortening
½ cup butter
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
5 cups confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoons milk

Steps:

  • Beat shortening and butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer until smooth, about 3 minutes; stir in vanilla extract. Beat sugar, one cup at a time, into butter mixture on medium speed. Add milk and beat on high speed until light and fluffy.
  • Keep icing covered with a damp cloth until ready to decorate. For best results, keep icing refrigerated when not using.
