16 ounces of water

Steps:

  • Pour water and vinegar into the spray bottle and shake to mix.
  • Add the salt and lavender essential oil and swish the solution until the salt dissolves completely.
  • Spritz the carpet or rug liberally.
  • Let the homemade cleaner dry on the rug or carpet.
  • Vacuum to eliminate dried cleaner residue.
  • Repeat as needed.
