Easy Homemade Keto Spaghetti Sauce Recipe - KetoConnect image

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 medium white onion (chopped)
2 cloves minced garlic
1/4 tsp fresh thyme
2 tbsp fresh basil (roughly chopped)
1 14.5 oz can Diced Tomatoes
1/2 cup Water
salt and pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  • Add olive oil to a saucepan over medium heat. Once heated, add onion and garlic and cook until translucent, 3-5 minutes.
  • Add canned tomatoes, water and herbs.
  • Simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve warm over keto pasta of zucchini noodles.
  • Store in a mason jar in the fridge for 5 days.
