7 tbsp. Kikkoman naturally brewed soy sauce
3 tbsp. olive oil
rind and juice of ½ an organic lemon
afew chopped lemongrass leaves
1/4 tsp. mixed, coarsely ground pepper

Steps:

  • Stir together the soy sauce, oil, lemon rind, lemon grass and pepper. Tip! The marinade is a very good choice for marinating turkey steaks and chicken breasts.

Lean chicken breasts are marinated in a lemon-soy marinade then grilled or broiled until tender and juicy.

4 chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each)
1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
3 cloves garlic (grated)
1/4 cup lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
Toasted sesame seeds (optional garnish )

Steps:

  • Place all ingredients in a large zip-lock bag and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or as long as you wish.
  • Grill or broil on medium-high heat until chicken breasts are fully cooked, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
  • Leftovers taste great in sandwiches or on salads.
