These jazzed-up oyster crackers created by our Test Kitchen have such great flavor, we bet you’ll have trouble not eating them all at once! With Parmesan cheese and seasoning from a soup mix, they’re a sure-fire hit with any soup.

2 packages (10 ounces each) oyster crackers
1/2 cup canola oil
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 envelope savory herb with garlic soup mix

Steps:

  • Place the crackers in a large bowl. Combine the oil, cheese and soup mix; pour over crackers and toss gently. Transfer to two ungreased 15x10x1-in. baking pans. , Bake at 350° for 5-7 minutes, stirring once. Cool. Store in an airtight container.

1 (1 ounce) package Ranch-style dressing mix
½ teaspoon dried dill weed
¼ cup vegetable oil
¼ teaspoon lemon pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
5 cups oyster crackers

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the dressing mix, dill weed, vegetable oil, lemon pepper, and garlic powder. Add oyster crackers, and toss to coat. Spread evenly on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, stirring gently after 10 minutes. Remove from oven, and allow to cool before serving.
