We're giving you a taste of the south with this delicious (but healthy!) air fryer chicken tender recipe.

Number Of Ingredients 6

16 oz. raw chicken breast (boneless, skinless)
1 large egg
2 Tbsp. yellow mustard
¾ cup fine almond flour
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. ground paprika

Steps:

  • Pat chicken breast dry with paper towels; cut into 2-inch strips. Set aside.
  • Add egg and mustard to a small mixing bowl; whisk to combine. Pour into a gallon-sized, resealable plastic bag; add chicken. Seal bag; toss chicken in bag to evenly coat.
  • Add almond flour, pepper, and paprika to bag; reseal. Massage chicken until evenly coated.
  • Arrange chicken tenders in air-fryer basket.
  • Bake at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown, or a thermometer inserted in the center of one reads 165° F.

10 oz chicken tenders
2 pcs beaten egg whites
½ cup or cereals, or stale whole wheat bread slices, coarsely crushed whole-wheat cereals
2 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tsp grated or powdered parmesan cheese
1 tsp paprika
to taste salt and ground black pepper
cooking spray
1 cup of your choice side salad
¼ tsp chopped parsley

Steps:

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, mix together crushed cereals, Italian seasoning, cheese, and paprika.
  • Season the chicken tenders with salt and pepper. Toss to combine.
  • Add egg whites and coat in the crumb mixture.
  • Place the coated chicken strips on a greased wire rack lined with parchment paper and a baking sheet. Spray cooking spray on the chicken and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden.
  • Serve with a side salad of your choice!
