Smoked Salmon Spread Recipe | Allrecipes image

A delicious and easy spread that always gets many compliments. Serve it with somewhat bland crackers to taste the smoked salmon. You can add some chopped capers for more flavor, if needed. I usually serve this on a nice plate and put the spread in a mold before serving.

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
12 ounces smoked salmon, chopped
3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
3 drops hot pepper sauce
1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill weed
2 tablespoons chopped green onion

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, stir cream cheese until it is no longer in a hard form. Add salmon, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, dill and onion; mix well. Serve.

Easy Smoked Sausage Skillet - Allrecipes image

Dinner's on the table in no time with this one-skillet sausage and veggie dish served over rice.

1 (14 ounce) package Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage, diagonally cut into 1/4-inch slices
¼ cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 large red bell pepper, sliced thin
1 small yellow onion, sliced thin
1 (10 ounce) package frozen broccoli, thawed
½ cup chicken broth or water
½ cup tomato sauce
2 cups instant rice
½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Heat olive oil and crushed garlic, stir in smoked sausage slices and cook until smoked sausage is browned.
  • Add pepper, onion, broccoli, chicken broth and tomato sauce and simmer for about 10 minutes until vegetables are tender and the liquid is absorbed.
  • In the meantime, cook rice according to package instructions. Stir rice into the skillet, sprinkle with cheese and serve.
