2 turkey thighs (about 2 lbs)
1 c. dry red wine
1 c. thinly sliced onions
2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. each dried rosemary, sage, thyme and salt
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. water

Steps:

  • Eight to 12 hours before cooking, put all except Gravy ingredients in a 3 1/2-qt or larger slow-cooker. Cover and refrigerate. Cook on high 4 to 5 hours or on low 8 to 10 hours until turkey is tender. Remove turkey thighs to cutting board and cover loosely with foil. Gravy: Set cooker to high and cover. Whisk flour and water until well blended. Whisk into liquid in cooker. Cover and cook, stirring once, 15 minutes or until thickened.

4 large sized skinless turkey thighs
4 medium-sized onions (sliced)
6 garlic cloves (chopped)
¼ cup dry white wine
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Lay sliced onions and chopped garlic on the bottom of your slow cooker pot. Season with salt and cayenne pepper and pour in white wine.
  • Transfer turkey thighs over wine mixture and close the lid.
  • Cook on high for 5 hours.
  • Remove the turkey and shred it using forks. Discard bones and return meat to a slow cooker.
  • Stir to combine and serve hot.
