Hi! I am new to this site, but I recently got a slow cooker and have been having such fun. This recipe is a creation of mine inspired by campfire cooking in my family - I hope it inspires you! You can add diced potatoes to this if you simply increase the liquid to cover the potatoes in your pot. No additional time needed - add potatoes at beginning with veggies.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 lb beef tips (you know what you like to eat!) or 1 lb stew meat (you know what you like to eat!)
2 bell peppers, chopped into 8-12 pieces each (I like one orange and one yellow)
1 red onion, quartered and pulled apart to single pieces
10 -16 ounces of whole baby bella mushrooms
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Toss all ingredients into crockpot.
  • Cook on Low for 6 -7 hours.
  • Eat!

This marinated, grilled teriyaki flank steak goes great with broccoli and rice.

½ cup wine
½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup olive oil
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup grated fresh ginger root
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1?½ pounds beef flank steak

Steps:

  • In a large resealable plastic bag, mix the wine, soy sauce, olive oil, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and pepper. Place steak in the bag, seal, and refrigerate 8 hours, or overnight.
  • Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat.
  • Remove steaks from the bag, and discard marinade. Place steaks on the grill and cook 6 to 8 minutes per side, to your desired degree of doneness. The internal temperature should be at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C) for rare. Allow the steaks to sit about 5 minutes before slicing against the grain, and serving.
