"Here is a recipe for Skillet Fudge. We have this rich, chocolate fudge every Christmas, and it is wonderful! It is easy to make, too!"

2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons Margarine
2 tablespoons Butter
7 tablespoons Milk
2 tablespoons WHITE corn syrup (Not LIGHT corn syrup)
1 teaspoon Vanilla

Steps:

  • "Combine all ingredients in a deep skillet. Bring to a hard boil. Boil while stirring for one minute. Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes. Beat until candy loses most of its gloss. (This took me about 10 to 12 minutes.) Immediately pour into an 8-inch by 8-inch buttered pan. Cool, and then cut into squares. Place individual pieces of fudge on a nice serving plate. YUM!"

1 cup mini marshmallows
1 (12 ounce) jar chunky peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 tablespoons margarine or 3 tablespoons butter
1 cup evaporated milk

Steps:

  • Combine sugar, milk and margarine in ur nonstick electric skillet.
  • Set control dial at 300 deg.
  • Bring to boil and boil 5 minute.
  • ,stirring constantly.
  • Turn skillet off.
  • Add marshmallows, peanut butter and vanilla.
  • Stir until marshmallows and peanut butter are melted and blended.
  • Turn into a buttered 8-in square pan.
  • Cool before cutting.
  • Makes 2 lbs.

  • Prepare a 9 x 9 inch pan lined with aluminum foil with 2 inches overhang on sides. Butter it well. Combine the first 4 ingredients into an electric skillet. Set the temperature at 280 F. Stirring to blend, bring the ingredients to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes while stirring constantly. Turn the skillet off. Add the marshmallows,chocolate chips, pecans and vanilla. Stir until the marshmallows and chocolate chips are melted and blended smoothly. Pour the candy into the prepared pan. Cool.
