TATER TOT SIDE DISH RECIPE - FOOD.COM
This is sort of a variation on the twice baked potatoe. You can use any shredded cheese, I like a cheddar blend, but taco cheese or monterey jack works well also. Use more or less cheese/bacon, according to your family's taste. Turkey bacon works too.

Steps:
- Cook tots in oven as directed. Don't turn off oven.
- Take off cookie sheet and place in a casserole dish. Sprinkle cheese on top of tots. Crumble bacon on top of cheese.
- Place uncovered back into preheated oven 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is nicely melted. Sprinkle chives over the top. Serve with sour cream on the side for dipping, also ketchup works well for the kids.

In a large mixing bowl, combine 16 oz. sour cream, 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, a 10.75 oz. can cream of mushroom soup, and ? cup sliced green onions. Stir until well blended. Pour mixture over the Tater Tots. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Sprinkle a can of potato sticks over the top of the casserole, and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from the oven, and serve while hot! This casserole is a favorite around here. It is very simple to make, and goes with just about anything. It is very tasty!"
