Roasted potatoes happen to be my favorite side dishes because they are so simple to make, but throughout the summer months, I just can't stand cooking with my traditional kitchen oven.

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 lbs. Baby red potatoes, ¼ cut into
2 Tbsp. olive oil
¼ C. dried onion flakes
1 tsp. dried rosemary
½ tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. celery celery
¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Put in the Crisper Basket and shut the lid. Choose AIR CRISP, set the temperature to 390°F, and set the time to 20 minutes. Select START/STOP to start Ninja Foodi preheating.
  • In the meantime, Place all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix until evenly coated.
  • After the Ninja unit beeps to let you know it has preheated, Place the potatoes to the Crisper Basket. Shut the lid and cook for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes of cooking shake the crisper basket well. Put the basket back in the Ninja unit and shut the lid to continue cooking.
  • After 10 minutes, stop and check for sought after crispness. Resume cooking up to 5 additional minutes, if needed.

Really tasty and crispy roast potatoes perfect to go with a roast dinner or as a side to any meal

Total Time 30 minutes

Prep Time 5 minutes

Cook Time 25 minutes

Number Of Ingredients 6

Potatoes
Garlic Infused Olive Oil OR Garlic Paste
1 tsp Dried Rosemary
1 tsp Dried Thyme
Salt & Pepper
Spray Oil

Steps:

  • Add 300ml hot water to the pot
  • Add the potatoes to the crisper basket and put on High Pressure for 1 minute. Quick release the steam when it is done.
  • Remove the basket of potatoes and empty the water out of the pot. Leave the potatoes for 5 mins to cool, this helps to dry out the outside and makes the potatoes crispier.
  • I use a separate colander to do the seasoning but you could do this in the crisper basket if you wanted to. Pour around 2 tablespoons of garlic infused oil OR 1 tablespoon garlic paste over the top of the potatoes, Sprinkle on the rosemary, thyme salt and pepper and toss the potatoes in the colander until the seasoning covers all of them.... (it is better to toss them than to use a spoon or it breaks the potatoes) If you use garlic paste spray the potatoes with a little oil now.
  • Put the seasoned potatoes in the crisper basket and place inside the pot. Put on Air Crisp for 20 mins at 200 C Turn a couple of times during the 20 mins
