2 cups Rice (raw)
2 cups Sugar
2 tbsp Gelatine (soak it in hot water)
1 cup Milk powder
2 pieces Cinnamon (Karugapatta)

Steps:

  • For preparing rice jelly, wash the rice well and soak it with cinnamon for about 45 minutes.
  • Then cook it with 4 cups water until soft.
  • Mash it thoroughly and cool. Add sugar and milk powder.
  • Blend in the gelatine solution. Keep in fridge to set
  • Serve with chocolate sauce.

The dessert introduced today is a combination of peach gum and saponified rice. I steamed them with rock sugar, and whipped milk and juice into a viscous liquid. Using the shades of colors, it is made into the shape of Tai Chi, and chilled with the pumpkin, it becomes an exquisite dessert-jelly.

1 piece pumpkin
15 grams Saponified rice
10gram Peach gum
10gram crystal sugar
100 g milk
80 grams water

Steps:

  • Soak the peach gum and saponified rice overnight in advance and wash them
  • Put the soaked peach gum and saponified rice into a bowl
  • Put an appropriate amount of rock sugar, put it in the steamer, and steam for half an hour
  • Cut off the top of the small pumpkin and dig out the seeds
  • Put the pumpkin on the plate, put it in the steamer, and steam with peach gum and saponia rice for 30-40 minutes
  • Put the peach gum into the cup, pour a little water (the bean soup I put), and use a cooking stick to beat into a puree
  • Put the saponified rice into a cup, pour in an appropriate amount of milk, and use a cooking stick to beat into puree
