RICE A RONI INSTANT POT RECIPES

Steps:

• Turn Saute mode on to the More or High setting. Wait until pot says Hot and add your rice first. Cook that for 2 minutes.
• Now add your orzo and cook until browned which should be 2-3 min.
• Add the Spice Blend and stir until fragrant. Then press Cancel
• Pour broth into pot and scrape the bottom a bit to make sure nothing was sticking. Put lid on pot and set to Sealing until you have a self-sealing lid. Set pot to Pressure Cook for 6 min and do a 10 min NPR.
• When you open the pot fluff the rice and add your scallions.
• Serve hot. Enjoy!

Steps:

• Start by pressing Saute and letting your pot heat up until it says HOT.
• When your pot says hot, add cooking oil and swirl the pot. Add chicken and saute for 2-3 minutes. Just until the chicken starts to turn white.
• If you are adding onion and celery, go ahead and do that now as well.
• Add water to hot pot and Deglaze by scraping the bottom of the pot. Make sure you get the browned bits off the bottom of the pot, this will add flavor to your dish.
• Pour rice a roni over the top.
• Sprinkle seasoning packet over the top. Add butter to pot.
• Poke down rice a roni in to liquid.
• Press Manual or Pressure Cook and set for 6 min on High Pressure, with 10 min NPR. Make sure pot valve is set to Sealing.
• When NPR is done, manually release the rest of the pressure. Stir contents and serve.
