These homemade skinny baked buffalo wings aren't even fried and will be the hit at your next party! Also great for a quick dinner!

Number Of Ingredients 11

3 lbs about 18 chicken wings
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp Franks hot sauce
1/4 cup white vinegar
2 tbsp oregano
4 tsp paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp chili powder
salt and fresh pepper
2 celery stalks (sliced into strips)
2 carrots (peeled and sliced into strips)
low fat blue cheese dressing (extra pts)

Steps:

  • In a large bowl combine chicken, 2 tbsp hot sauce, vinegar, oregano, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder salt and pepper.
  • Mix well and let marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Place wings on a broiler rack and broil on low, about 8 inches from the flame for about 10-12 minutes on each side. (All ovens are different so be careful not to burn and make sure it is cooked before removing)
  • While chicken cooks, heat the remaining hot sauce until warm.
  • Toss the hot sauce with the chicken and arrange on a platter.
  • Serve with celery and carrot strips and blue cheese dressing or dipping.

4 cups cauliflower florets (, about 1 medium cauliflower)
1 tablespoon avocado oil (or olive oil)
1/2 cup almond meal (or fine blanched almond flour)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ginger powder
1/8 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp fine sea salt (or to taste)
1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper (or to taste)
3 tbsp coconut aminos (, can also sub with gluten-free tamari or low sodium soy sauce if not gluten-free)
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp Whole30 compliant hot sauce (or Sriracha)
1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
1 inch fresh ginger (, finely grated)
1 clove garlic clove (, finely minced)
3 green onions (, thinly sliced)
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Steps:

  • CUT THE CAULIFLOWER INTO PIECES: Remove most of stem and chop the cauliflower into bite-sized pieces. Drizzle the cauliflower with oil.
  • MAKE THE BATTER: In a large bowl, combine almond flour, garlic, ginger, chilli salt and pepper in a bowl. 
  • Place the cauliflower into the bowl and mix well. Or alternatively add all the ingredients to a large resealable bag and shake well until all the cauliflower is evenly coated.
